How Much to Eat During Pregnancy

First 3 Months

Your eating habits can stay about the same as before getting pregnant.

Months 4-9

You’ll need about 300 extra calories per day. Focus on a steady, gradual weight gain.

Talk with WIC staff or your health care provider about what's right for you and your pregnancy.
