WIC Support and Foods for Native Families

Two WIC Options in Nevada

Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada (ITCN) WIC serves all 27 Native tribes in Nevada and promotes unity between tribes.

Local WIC clinics serve the general public and provide the same food benefits and services.

You can choose either option. All Nevada families are welcome at any WIC location, regardless of race or background.

Traditional Native Foods Available with WIC

WIC offers food benefits that fit your cultural food preferences

Traditional Native foods you can get with WIC include:

  • Canned or dried beans

  • Vegetables, like corn, squash, and pumpkin

  • Canned fish

Talk with WIC staff about tailoring your benefits to fit your family's needs.
