
Prenatal care is health care during pregnancy. Your health care provider checks that you and your baby are healthy and doing well.
Call your health care provider as soon as you think you're pregnant. Once confirmed, you’ll have regular visits.

These appointments will usually happen:
At your appointments, you'll learn about your baby and how your body is changing. Going to these checkups helps keep you and your baby healthy.
Write down questions before your appointments, so you remember to ask.
Ask your local WIC clinic about prenatal groups where you can learn, share ideas, and ask questions.
Nevada Medicaid offers services for income-eligible pregnant people. To find out if you qualify, visit the Division of Social Services website.
